Arran Butler has been located and is safe.
At 1:19 a.m. this morning (Tuesday), his family called Squamish RCMP to confirm that Butler, who had been reported missing after leaving his home on Sunday, was located by friends up the Squamish Valley near Elaho. He had gone for a drive and his vehicle got stuck in snow. Without his cell phone, he was unable to communicate to get help and tried to walk back to Squamish, but because night was falling, he decided to walk back to his vehicle and sleep for the night, RCMP said.
"He was located and transported back to Squamish," said Sgt. Jolaine Percival. "The Squamish RCMP would like to thank everyone from our community for their efforts."
