M&M Meats break-in thwarted

Briefs from the Squamish RCMP

On Saturday (Oct. 2) at 6:08 a.m., an alarm was received from M&M Meats on Glenalder Place. RCMP officers reported the front door window was smashed, with no entry gained.

Bike Stolen

On Saturday (Oct. 2) at 7:41 p.m. a resident reported that a padlock was cut off a storage unit at Wingtip Place. A 2007 blue and white Yamaha TTR230 motorcycle was stolen. The vehicle was not licensed and the matter is still under investigation.

Home burglarized

On Sunday (Oct. 3), a resident called to report a break-in at his residence on Smoke Bluff Road between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Items stolen included a Concorde Watch, Lugaro bracelet, Olympus digital camera and a Bose iPod docking station.

Convertible shredded

On Friday (Oct. 1) a vehicle owner called to report that while parked overnight on Wilson Crescent, suspect(s) cut the convertible top to unlock a door and entered the vehicle and stole a Kenwood stereo, tool pouch, two Dewalt drills and damaged the vehicle trying to rip out the amp.

Vehicle broken into

On Tuesday (Oct. 5) a vehicle owner reported that while parked on Highway 99 by Murrin Park during a climbing excursion, someone broke the driver door lock and stole a bag containing photography equipment and a lap top.
