It is that time of year again — Refresh Market time.
One of the province’s most popular indie markets sets up at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park this weekend.
Just in time for Christmas, shoppers will find handmade and locally designed wares including clothing, ceramics, jewelry, dry goods and vintage items from 100 local craft people.
Plus, there will be food trucks and music to keep the vibe fun.
The market starts on Friday, Nov. 17- from 4 to 10 p.m. with a new, first dibs early access evening that will include a gift and cocktail in addition to getting to snap up items early.
Saturday, Nov. 18 doors open at 10 a.m. and the shopping continues to 4 p.m. at 39645 Government Rd. Parking is free.

Backcountry wins award
Our own Backcountry Brewing won big at the 2017 BC Beer Awards held in Vancouver last week.
They won Silver for their Ridgerunner Pilsner in the German Pale Lager category and they took home silver in the hotly contested American IPA for their Widowmaker IPA and Gold in the American Pale Ale category for their Trailbreaker Pale Ale.
They also were awarded Rookie of the Year for being the best new craft brewery. And there is still more -— they took home Best Social media in the Creative Awards category.
The awards saw 100 B.C. breweries with 900 beers compete head to frothy head.
Backcountry Brewing was founded in 2014 and opened in April of this year.
Call for artists
Are you a mural artist looking for your next canvass?
The president of company Goodbye Graffiti, Perri Domm has put out a call for an artist to paint a giant mural on the inside of his home.
The wall is 25 feet by 30 feet. The artist will be chosen based on proposed design.
The winner will be provided supplies, accommodation and $2,000.
