The schedule of construction-related delays is the same for the next 10 days as it has been for the past few weeks. However, officials say some nighttime closures may be necessary between Whistler and Squamish starting Monday (May 14). Stay tuned. The schedule for the remainder of this week and all of next week:
Between Nelson Creek and Lions Bay, expect delays of up to 30 minutes between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. and up to 15 minutes weekdays between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Expect delays of up to five minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 and 5 p.m.
Between Horseshoe Bay and Lions Bay, expect delays of up to 15 minutes weeknights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Between Lions Bay and Squamish, expect delays of up to 30 minutes weeknights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expect delays of up to 15 minutes from 5 to 6 a.m., 9 to 10 a.m., 2 to 4 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m., ending Friday at noon.

Corrections
On page A5 of the May 5 edition of the newspaper, The Chief incorrectly reported that Coun. Corinne Lonsdale received $1,200 in campaign contributions from Squamish Terminals. In fact, Lonsdale received $150 from Squamish Terminals. In the same story, it was reported that Coun. Mike Jenson received $2,000 from West Coast Logging. Jenson in fact received $200 from West Coast Logging. The Chief regrets the errors.
