What a wonderful 90th birthday was held at the Cedman Lounge on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. The ladies celebrating were Doris Ford and Lorraine Jordon. Doris, who has two daughters, has lived at the manor since 1976. Lorraine has lived there since 1993 and has three daughters and one son. Families were there for both parties. The food was fantastic, especially the huge strawberry cake made by May Allen. A great big thank-you to all the ladies that helped make the day a great success.
Early Dementia Support Group

Tantalus Seniors' Centre
The centre is open Monday to Friday, 1 to 4 p.m., closed weekends and holidays. Mondays 1 p.m.: crafts and cards; Tuesdays 1 p.m.: crib; Wednesdays at 10 a.m.: sketch 'n paint; Thursdays 9:15 a.m.: TOPS; Fridays 1 p.m.: bridge; Fridays 7:30 p.m.: whist. Genealogy is the third Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m.The general meeting of the Tantalus Seniors' Centre will be held this Wednesday (March 2) at 1 p.m. Come out and see what is going on in our community.
Tantalus Walking Club

Thanks to Dorothy and Peter Hess for planting the gorgeous flowers in the front garden, to Svea's piano students for the performance on Sunday (Feb. 20), to Thelma and Chris from the Cliffside Pub for accommodating the residents for a game of pool last Friday afternoon (Feb. 18) and to Tracy from Evea Day Spa for coming up to give free waxing treatments.
