Sleeping B&E. Man arrested. Little green men. Another man arrested. prohibited and breach of court conditions. Theft from auto. Shed break-in. Change stolen.

Sleeping B&E
A man was found sleeping in a house on Loggers Lane after he broke in on Nov. 30. He eventually left out the front door and nothing was stollen from the house. He is described as Caucasian, 40-45 years old, 5’10” tall, with short grey hair. He was wearing a grey sweater and light-blue pants. 

Man arrested
On Dec. 1, a man was arrested for breaching court conditions not to drink alcohol. Police officers arrived to assist paramedics at a downtown pub with the intoxicated man who had fallen and needed help. He was arrested after being medically cleared.

Little green men
Five small green man-shaped traffic control stands were placed in the parking lot of Howe Sound Secondary School on Nov. 30. These stands are used to slow vehicle traffic when children are playing in lanes or close to the roadway. Police don’t know where the stands came from.


Another man arrested
The Squamish RCMP arrested a man who was driving a stolen vehicle after officers were called in because of an argument at a downtown gas station on Dec. 2. Charges include possession of stolen property, driving while prohibited and breach of court conditions.

Theft from auto
Several items were stolen from a Jeep Cherokee that was parked in the 39000 block of Government Road on Nov. 29. The items stolen include an RBC Visa and debit card, a garage door opener and a hard brown Oakley sunglass case.

Shed break-in
Tools were stolen from a shed in the area of Fourth Avenue on Dec. 3, police said. 

Change stolen
A man reported his unlocked vehicle was rummaged through on Nov. 28 in the 39000 block of Government Road, Squamish RCMP said. About $10 of change was stolen.  There was no damage to the vehicle.
