Sunsational Vacations and Sun Life Financial at 1345 Winnipeg St. were broken into overnight on Dec. 12.
   An aqua-coloured Bose bluetooth speaker and a Dell 24-inch Inspiron 3000 laptop were stolen from the businesses. The RCMP forensic team obtained evidence from the scene and the investigation continues.

 Home break-in

A home that was being renovated in the 1000-block on Finch Drive was broken into on Dec. 13. 

The homeowners say that two sets of wooden blinds, a small black portable heater and a silver faucet were stolen from the home.

 Package stolen 

A package was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 2500-block of Rhum & Eigg Drive on Dec. 16. The person at home said a man knocked at his door, waited a few seconds and then left with the package, which was later thrown away down the road. 

Officers obtained evidence regarding the suspect.

 Theft from auto 

A man reported that his vehicle was broken into overnight in the 1100-block of Wilson Crescent on Dec. 12, according to Squamish RCMP. 

Several items were stolen from the vehicle including an Arcterx blue winter jacket, a brown leather wallet and a Whistler ski pass.

More theft from autos 

A man reported that his two vehicles were broken into while parked overnight at the Sandman Hotel in Squamish on Dec. 17. Several personal items were stolen including backpacks and clothing.
