Sugar in tank
A local man reported that sugar had been poured into his snowmobile gas tank. The incident caused significant damage to the vehicle. The offence most likely occurred while the snowmobile was parked at his home in the 41800 block of Faith Road on Dec. 16, according to RCMP.
Tools stolen
A Squamish man’s work area attached to his home in the Bracken Park area was broken into within the last month, according to Squamish RCMP. Several tools were stolen including a Red Honda Generator EG5000, two Walkerized Husqvarna 372 Chainsaws and a Skil Hammer Drill.
Vehicle keyed
A vehicle was keyed at Tantalus Place. The vehicle’s owner saw that comments engraved on her passenger side door while the vehicle was parked in her driveway between Dec. 21 and 22.
Theft on Christmas Eve
A bar patron had his jacket and keys stolen from The Barrel Owl, located at 40330 Tantalus Rd., at around 1 a.m on Christmas Eve. The Squamish RCMP is investigating the theft and officers obtained evidence that could identify the suspect.
