Coins in bread
Pieces of bread with coins stuffed in them were found on Ray Peters trail in Brackendale on the morning of Jan. 19. The bread was most likely left on purpose for dogs to eat, Squamish RCMP said. A local Facebook group that helps find lost animals is asking Squamish residents to keep an extra close eye on their dogs.
"Please be vigilant and keep an eye on your dogs when using the trail systems,” said Sea to Sky NANA (Neighbourhood Animals Needing Assistance) on its Facebook page.
