VEHICLE BRAKES CUT

RCMP say vehicle brake lines on a car were cut.

A vehicle service company informed officers of the matter on April 9 after staff inspected the car.

Police say the vehicle was parked the previous evening at a residence in Dentville.

 

VEHICLE BREAK-INS

Two vehicles were broken into overnight on April 9 around Pia Road and Rhum and Eigg Drive.

Police say both vehicles were believed to have been left unlocked and a wallet, First Aid kit, and a flashlight were reported missing. 

The wallet missing is described as a brown wallet with an Eagle on the front.

 

MOUNTAIN BIKE FOUND

Officers say someone found a mountain bike in the estuary on April 10.

The bike is described as an Orange Specialized Rockhopper.

 

FLAMING VOLKSWAGEN

A Volkswagen caught fire due to electrical issues.

Squamish RCMP found out about the fire, which was at the Alice Lake parking lot, on April 14.

Firefighters put out the blaze.

 

MAILBOX BROKEN INTO

A mailbox was found to be secured improperly or broken into April 12 at 40100 Wilson Crescent.

All mail that remained was removed by police for safekeeping.
