Golf cart accident
Police say a man fell after jumping on the back of a golf cart while pulling his wheeled golf clubs behind him on Sept. 17 at 5:45 p.m.
Due to his injuries, an air ambulance was called and landed on the golf course. The man was later transported to Vancouver General Hospital.
Drive-thru rage
A woman blocked the drive-thru of a local fast food restaurant after accusing its employees of not giving her order on Sept. 18 at 3:20 p.m.
Officers say the driver refused to move, prompting an employee to contact police.
Police arrived and found the woman, who agreed to leave the location.
Hit and run hurts Mustang
The owner of a grey Ford Mustang told officers an older model two-tone brown and white SUV swiped his car, damaging the front end and passenger side.
Police say the suspect’s car was going east on Garibaldi Way on Sept. 18 at around 8:45 a.m.
The SUV’s driver did not stop to provide information or speak with the driver of the Mustang. Squamish RCMP are seeking information about the owner and driver of the vehicle.
Roadblock
Squamish RCMP issued several prohibitions for drinking and driving in the early morning hours of Sept. 23.
Officers had set up a roadblock in downtown Squamish.
Police say the accused were over the legal alcohol limit and were suspended from driving for 90 days. Their vehicles were impounded for 30 days.
