Stealing from a business

A male suspect allegedly stole money from a local watering hole, police say.

The theft occurred at a Queen’s Way business on Oct. 20.

Cash was taken at around 4 p.m., officers say.

Police describe the suspect as a 5’10” white male wearing blue jeans, a dark sweater and a black ball cap.

 

Disappearing seniors items

Books, puzzles, magazines and cleaning supplies have been going missing from the common room in a seniors complex since January.

Police received a complaint about the matter on Oct. 22.

 

Ghost kayak

An abandoned kayak was found in the waters by Fisherman’s Park in Brackendale on Oct. 23.

The yellow Kayak was stuck between two logs opposite to the park. 

This is the second report of this kayak and police are asking the owner to please contact the Squamish RCMP.
