Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that occurred on Highway 99 on Tuesday, June 13.
Just before 3 p.m. a Toyota 4Runner was traveling northbound in the curvy section of the highway, just north of Porteau Cove Provincial Park, when it came around a corner to find another vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lane, according to a news release from Squamish Traffic Services.
The driver of the Toyota was forced to the shoulder and ended up in the ditch.
The southbound driver did not stop, police said.
The southbound vehicle is described as a light-colored SUV or Van.
