Brennan Park's swimming pool and skating rinks remain open, despite the wide-sweeping public order that was recently issued by the provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry.
Henry's order shut down sporting events, fitness centres and gyms, among other things.
The order came into effect on Thursday.
However, Brennan Park's public swims and skates remain open for those who have vaccination passports.
The District is asking people to continue wearing masks and maintain physical distance.
In the meantime, those registered for adult/senior fitness programs slated for January should keep checking the District for updates related to the health order.
An email update for those registered will be sent after Jan. 4.
