RCMP and the BC Conservation Officer Service have contained a fire on the Conroy Forest Service Road.
Officers said on Twitter that an RV caught fire up the road.
The vehicle appears to have caught fire and the propane tank exploded.
The Coastal Fire Service has been notified, police say.
