The Refresh Market is back.

The biannual handmade and vintage market is back for the fifth time with its largest selection to date.

Handmade, vintage and curated wares for your home, wardrobe and little ones are just a small sample of the many items at the market on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside the CN Roundhouse Centre at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park.

“Creating is a large component of the event strategy for Refresh,” said Shannon Lorenz, who produces the event with her partner Rachel Boguski. “Not only does it keep excitement high but it also challenges us to keep improving the event by making it more innovative, creative and entertaining for everyone to enjoy.”

“The great thing about this event is that we really do offer a new experience every single time, and one that is totally unique to Squamish,” Boguski said. “This spring, we’ve definitely got
some firsts.”

Among those firsts are a festival-friendly fashion show curated by Sarah Johnston and Diane Rudge of Cleveland Avenue’s Wild And Heart, as well as studio portraits by local children’s and family photographer Corrie Lindroos Photography.

Local businesses participating in the event include Fetish For Shoes, On The Farm Country Market, Billie’s Flower House, One Small Room and Stock Home Design.

Over the years, the event has averaged 1,500 visitors and has helped raise more than $3,000 for local non-profit charities.

Admission is $2, with proceeds benefitting the Squamish Helping Hands Society. All ages are welcome. For more information visit www.refreshmarket.ca.
