Six elected to Chamber board

The Squamish Chamber of Commerce this week announced the re-election of one board member and the election of five new people to the Chamber's board of directors.

In balloting conducted over the past few weeks, Maurice Freitag of Granit Art and Masonry was re-elected to the board for a two-year term. Also elected to two-year terms were board newcomers Susan Chapelle of Squamish Therapeutic Massage, Jasmine Henczel of Prudential Sussex Realty, John Jervis of Sea to Sky Commercial Expert, Ana Santos of Squamish Climate Action Network, and Mark Stephens of North Shore Credit Union.

The Chamber received 15 hard-copy and 69 e-ballots during the election period, Chamber president Sameer Kajani said in a statement issued on Monday (Nov. 22).
