A snowfall warning has been issued for the Sea to Sky Highway from Squamish to Whistler.

A total amount of 20 to 30 centimetres of snow is expected, according to Environment Canada.

The snow is forecast to begin falling lightly today and will become heavy near midnight, resulting in up to 30 centimetres of snow piling up tomorrow.

Heavy snowfall along the highway can cause hazardous driving conditions, visibility to be suddenly reduced and traffic delays. Environment Canada recommends not travelling.
