What appears to be the wing of a small plane was found by a Squamish resident in a gully along Government Road.

The wing is about 1.2 metres long, grey and has some black writing covered in red paint. The wing was quite deep in the side of the ditch, so was likely there for some time.

A local pilot contacted by The Chief could not identify it. He advised that the item not be removed.

The Chief is contacting the Transportation Safety Board and local police about the wing.

Any ideas about what plane it may have come from and how it got there?
