Mischief at Sky High Cannabis

Early on New Year's Day, Squamish RCMP on patrol saw damage to the front window of Sky High Cannabis. The police have identified three people of interest through store surveillance, and are asking the public to come forward with any information they have about the incident.

Trailer stolen

Squamish RCMP say a trailer was stolen within the last two weeks. The white Wells Cargo utility trailer was parked in the 1100 block of Commercial Place. It is a two-axle trailer.

Items stolen from underground parking lot

Bins with clothing and a GPS were stolen from a car's trunk. The vehicle was parked in an underground parking lot in the 37000 block of Cleveland Avenue.

 

  Attempted car theft causes damage   

The ignition of a Honda Civic is severely damaged after someone entered the vehicle and tried to start the engine. The owner had parked the car in the 37000 block of Loggers Lane. RCMP say the suspects are unknown.

Skis found on Highway 99

Three skis were found on Highway 99, and turned in to the Squamish RCMP detachment. They will be at the detachment until Feb. 2 to be claimed. If the skis are not claimed by the owner, they will be disposed of.

 

New driver caught impaired

A new driver was caught driving after drinking alcohol, while under a restriction of zero blood alcohol content. Squamish RCMP issued a driving suspension and violation ticket. The driver will face challenges when they try to graduate to a class 5 licence.
