Impaired hit-and-run
Police say an impaired driver crashed his vehicle into another car on Highlands Way on Feb. 6.
Squamish RCMP say they found the driver driving away from the scene in his heavily damaged car.
Police arrested the driver for impaired driving, failure to remain at scene, and breach of probation. Investigators allege the driver was over three times the legal limit to drive, and compelled him to court at a future date.
Break-in, stolen truck
Suspects stole a 1994 Green F250 pickup truck around 3 a.m. on the 39000-block of Government Road.
Police say they had broken into shipping containers and cars in the area on Feb. 6 while also siphoning gas.
Wallet stealer
Police say a man was rummaging through a vehicle in the 1100-block of Wilson Crescent on Feb. 8.
When confronted, the suspect ran away with a wallet, officers say.
Licence plate thief
Two B.C. licence plates went missing from a parked vehicle on between Feb. 5 and Feb. 8.
The vehicle was parked on the 1500-block of Judd Road.
