The year 2015 is set to kick off and there are a number of ways to ring in the New Year locally.
The Drop NYE returns to Squamish to celebrate the start of 2015, and this year’s party goes down at The Chieftain Hotel. The third annual event features two separate and unique rooms.

Over at The Living Room, it’s Fireball 2015 and all attendees are encouraged to dress to impress in either red, gold or black. Music from DJ Sasha, DJ Sprout and The Sly Virus will rock the party starting at 9 p.m. Champagne and fireworks at midnight are included with the ticket. The Howe Sound Brew Pub is throwing it back with an “Old Hollywood” themed costume party to ring in the New Year. Live music from The Whiskey Dicks kicks off the night starting at 9 p.m. and there are also dinner specials for those interested in a meal.
Valleycliffe will be rocking at The Cliffside Pub, which welcomes DJ Krisp Kutz for a night of partying. Tickets include champagne and appetizers at midnight.
The event kicks off at 8 p.m., with cover increasing after 10 p.m.
