Grandparents as well as parents will be interested to learn that the annual Firefighters' Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday (April 16) at Brennan Park, complete with fire trucks, firefighters and, of course, the Easter Bunny generously stopping - or is that hopping? - by to enchant youngsters of all ages. Meet at 11 a.m. at the traditional location: in the treed area beside the ball fields by the food stand. Three separate age groups will ensure fair competition in the search for Easter Eggs. Don't forget a basket or some such container in which to collect eggs, earlier hidden away by the Easter Bunny and his ever helpful assistants: members of Squamish Fire Rescue.
