WOW - Senior Ladies Cycling

Seventeen ladies enjoyed their ride last week and welcome more to attend this Monday (April 25) when they meet at the Cheekye substation at 10 a.m. for a ride to Paradise Valley. For more information, please phone Shirley Rutherford at 604-898-5715.

Caregiver Support Group

This group will be meeting this Wednesday (April 27) at the Tantalus Seniors' Centre from 2-3:30 p.m. For more information phone Donna Howard at the Coast Garibaldi Health Unit at 604-892-2293.

Remember this Thursday (April 28) is our popular soup and sandwich day. It's just $5 each for a bowl of delicious home-made soup, a sandwich, tea or coffee, and a goodie. Bring a friend and enjoy a nice relaxing lunch.

Programs on during the week are: Monday, 1 p.m. - Crafts and cards; Tuesday, 1 p.m. - Crib; Wednesday, 10 a.m.-noon - Sketch and Paint; Thursday, 9:15 a.m. - TOPS; Friday, 1 p.m. - Bridge; Friday, 7:30 p.m. - Whist.

Just a reminder, Bingo is now held on a Sunday night (upstairs), the next one being on May 1.

Hilltop House Support Society

Just another reminder, we are planning our annual garage sale for Saturday, May 28. Lots of time to get your articles lined up for our sale. We will also be having crafts plus a bake table and an in-house raffle.

A special thank-you to everyone who donated raffle items and purchased raffle tickets: Hilltop House raised a total of $336.25 for the Squamish Humanity Village project as a results.

Many bear hugs also to Michael Allen for giving the residents a very interesting an educational presentation on bears in the area.

Hilltop's annual garage sale is coming up on May 28 and donations are now being accepted at Hilltop.

Get-well wishes to the following in Squamish General Hospital: Clara Dorosh, Warren Hayes, Rita North, Mary Crowston, and Peter Clegg.
