Two men are facing charges in connection with the shooting of a pet dog in the Upper Squamish Valley last year.
The men, from Lions Bay and Port Coquitlam, face charges of dangerous hunting as a result of an incident that occurred on June 17, 2012, Insp. Chris Doyle of the B.C. Conservation Officer Service said on Tuesday (Oct. 29).
The dog, which was off-leash but in the company of its owner at the time, was shot and killed. The two suspects, who have not been identified, are set to appear in North Vancouver Provincial Court on Nov. 20, Doyle said.
