UPDATE 4:10 p.m.: Police are reporting the highway has been cleared.
A collision has occurred on Highway 99 by Clarke Drive, limiting access to Valleycliffe, police say.
RCMP say the only entrance to that neighbourhood is a off Valley Drive.
Officers are asking people on the highway to slow down for the emergency vehicles on scene.
