Local conservationist John Buchanan captured this video of wildlife, including a mother bear and cubs, in the Squamish Estuary.
Buchanan said he set up three cameras for a month, "but a bear got one and a cougar destroyed the other one, so I was just left with the last one," he explained.
He said the area where this was filmed is where FortisBC is planning its route through the estuary for the natural gas pipeline to serve the proposed liquefied natural gas plant.
