Tracey Saxby opposes the project Byng Giraud wants to launch at the site of the former Woodfibre pulp mill.

Saxby, one of the creators of the group My Sea to Sky, is campaigning to prevent Woodfibre LNG from getting the approvals it needs to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on Howe Sound.

Giraud is the vice president at Woodfibre LNG and he has been tasked with consulting stakeholders as his company prepares plans to construct a small-scale facility that will store LNG for transport to Asia.

The pair shared their perspectives on the project during interviews conducted while Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC held information open houses.
