Squamish residents planning to vote in the federal election on Monday (May 2) should check the voter information cards they received in the mail to find out where to vote, Elections Canada officials said last week.
That's because, while Squamish has had just one polling site -Brennan Park Recreation Centre - in the past, this time voting is set to take place at both Brennan Park and the Sea to Sky Hotel.
Those who live in Brackendale and Garibaldi Highlands, as well as some voters living in Garibaldi Estates, will vote at the Sea to Sky Hotel. Those living in other neighbourhoods, and some Garibaldi Estates residents, will vote at Brennan Park.
