Local MP John Weston is to join Canada's Governor General, the Right Honourable David Johnston, for the inauguration of new Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, this weekend.
Weston, who departs tonight (Nov. 29) for Mexico City, is president of the Canada-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group. The group has worked on issues related to trade, tourism and fair treatment for Canadians traveling in and doing business in Mexico.
