Early Dementia Support Group

Caregivers' Support Group

Hilltop House Support Society
This group will be having a meeting in Hilltop's activity room on Thursday (June 9) at 9:30 a.m. We are looking for new members. Some of us are getting to the age where we will soon be needing care, so we do need help from a younger generation. This will be our last meeting until fall. Membership is just $5 a year.
It was a great day for our garage sale last week. A big thank-you to all those who contributed and to all who came out to support us. Our proceeds are to support the residents. Tantalus Seniors' Centre
Last week's soup and sandwich sponsored by the Craft ladies was the last until September. Pemberton has started up its own seniors' centre so it was a pleasure to welcome nine of their members to our luncheon.
Ray Miles introduced them and later gave them a tour of our facility. A big thank you to all the ladies who worked so hard in the kitchen, giving me the easy job of selling tickets at the door.
Weekly programs are Monday - 1 p.m. Crafts and Cards; Tuesday 1 p.m. Crib; Wednesday - now that the nice weather has arrived, the Sketch and Paint Group has taken their painting outdoors. Meet at the centre at 10 a.m. for details or phone Mima at 604-898-3280. Friday bridge has been cancelled until September.

The Annual General Meeting will be on Wednesday (June 15) at 1 p.m. Come out and see what is going on at the Centre. Refreshments will be served.
Tantalus Walking Club
