The Sounders have only two chances to take the home advantage this season, and players say they hope to see the crowds on the sidelines.

With a standing of 0 and 3, the Howe Sound Secondary football team has a little catching up to do, but coach Rex Reece said every practice is getting better.

"We're getting tighter," he said.

Despite a three-game losing streak, Reece said the Sounders' grade 11 and 12 boys played a good game against Burnaby's Moscrop last week. The Sounders also have one loss against Lord Tweedsmuir and a loss against Windsor.

With four new players on the team this year, the challenge will be to make the plays seamless.

"We're working on more flow," said Reece.
