Despite the rain, there were plenty of smiles at the Squamish Youth Triathlon on Sunday, May 15.
Close to 190 racers converged on Brennan Park for the 2022 iteration of the popular race, which had to be cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
"It was a wet one, but the kids barely noticed," said race director Tara-Leigh Cain, who added that the community and sponsors made the event the success it was.
"The community came out in a huge way for sponsorships — both financial and in-kind donations. I seriously love running this race and can't wait for next year!"
