Some fortunate youth at a Squamish Hustle Basketball summer camp got some hoop inspiration from two Vancouver Bandits recently.
Bandits players Duane Notice and MiKyle McIntosh attended the Hustle Basketball Camp, Episode three of five on July 15.
“They brought a lot of energy and are committed to coming back and helping basketball grow in Squamish,” said head coach and director of Hustle Basketball, Mike Wheaton.
The Vancouver Bandits finished first place in the Western Conference with a 19-5 record, giving them first place overall in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL)—the best regular season finish in the franchise’s history.
The Vancouver Bandits will host the CEBL Western Conference Semifinal single-elimination playoff game on Saturday, Aug.16, at 12:30 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre.
