The eighth annual Squamish Triathlon is seven weeks away but registration is already almost full and organizer Neil McKinnon is urging locals to sign up now.
"The Squamish Triathlon is three-quarters filled up and locals should register ASAP at www.squamishtriathlon.org before it's sold out."
Participants can get entry forms online and fax them to 604-892-5461, mail to Box 388 Garibaldi Highlands, BC, V0N 1T0 or drop them off at Sea to Sky Ocean Sports or MarketPlace IGA. The cost is $75 for adults, $60 for youth, $150 for relay teams of three people and $100 for relay teams of two people. Individuals looking for a competitor to complete a relay team can email relays@squamishtriathlon.org with contact information and the discipline of choice.
Correction
