Bantam Titans open season with win

The GSL Bantam Titans knocked off the West Vancouver Eagles 50-0 last weekend.

The Titan offensive line totally dominated the game, allowing the Titan offence to rush for more then 300 yards and score 7 touchdowns at Norgate Park on the North Shore.

Ricky Siemens lead the way offensively with 132 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns.

Craig Constantin led the Titan defense with a safety, four solo tackles and six assisted tackles. The Titans defense forced six turnovers on the day.

The Titans strong work ethic and great teamwork was the difference, said coach Rob Ryan.

All Squamish teams will play their first home game on Sunday (Sept. 25) at Brennan Park beginning at 10:30 am with the Blue Bullets Flag Team.

More volunteer game officials are needed for the games in Squamish. Anyone interested in officiating local football games can contact Rob Ryan at 604-898-9785 or send an e-mail message to [email protected].
