Whistler FC surprised no one by winning the Sea to Sky Hotel G&T Pool & Spa Contracting Men's Soccer League championship Sunday (March 27).

Whistler FC surprised no one by winning the Sea to Sky Hotel G&T Pool & Spa Contracting Men's Soccer League championship Sunday (March 27).

The team beat Canex Thunder 4-2 to earn themselves another two scoring points for a season total of 51 - well above the second-place total of 40.

Second place was up for grabs, however with the possibility of the season ending game propelling Ellis Moving ahead of MBC Rangers. A final tie score of 2-2 earned each team one point, and MBC a second place finish.

The eight teams face each other in the play-offs Sunday (April 3) and winners advance to the premiership cup. The remaining teams play for the divisional cup.
