Child in Porteau Cove accident recovers

Previously, the 18-month-old girl fell into the water

An 18-month-old girl who fell into the water in Porteau Cove has been released from hospital.

Cpl. Sascha Banks told The Chief it was a “pure accident.”

The incident happened a week ago after a child slipped through the railing of an upper deck.

A bystander jumped in to save her.
