Police ask for public’s help finding Whistler's Marcus Kissner

Whistler RCMP is seeking the public's help in locating missing man Marcus Kissner.

According to a release, Whistler RCMP's assistance was requested Oct. 2, at approximately 2 p.m. to locate Kissner, 47, due to concerns for his wellbeing.

Police say despite using all resources to find Kissner over 24 hours, they were not unable to do so and are asking the public to assist in their search. Kissner was last heard from Oct. 2 at 9 a.m. and was in the Emerald Drive area of Whistler.

Kissner is a white man with brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5'6 (152cm) tall and weighing about 175lbs (80kg). Police say Kissner may be wearing a black baseball cap, windbreaker and dark jeans, and possibly a VIP Limousine jacket as well.

Kissner is known to hike the trails above Emerald and One Duck Lake. Police ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to call Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.
