RCMP requests public’s help in locating missing Whistler woman

UPDATED: Police say she was located as of July 22 afternoon. 

Local police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Whistler woman who was last seen on July 19.

Twenty-six-year-old Danielle Zentner is described as Caucasian, with a slim build, weighting 57 kilograms (126 pounds), approximately 165 centimetres (5-5) tall, with long red and purple hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey shirt and green pants.

Anyone with information as to Zentner’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Whistler RCMP detachment at 604-932-3044, or Sea to Sky Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.

Three recent reports of a man following children in Bayshores area

Whistler RCMP is hoping to identify a man that has reportedly followed children in the Bayshores area in recent days.

Police said they have received three recent reports between July 6 and 13 of youths being followed by a suspicious male, all with a similar description.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his thirties, between 183 and 188 centimetres (6 feet and 6-2) tall, with a medium build and blonde and brown hair.

Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044, or Sea to Sky Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
