Found wallets, hit hydrants and stolen items
Squamish RCMP

Stolen items

Squamish RCMP are asking anyone with information about items stolen from motorcycle parks to come forward. Camping equipment and riding boots were reported stolen overnight on Aug. 17 in the 37000 block of Cleveland Avenue. The police said the boots are unique, as they are custom made and Italian.

Wallets returned

In one week, Squamish RCMP received three wallets found throughout Squamish. None of the owners had reported these wallets as missing, Const. Ashley McKay notes in a press release. Two have been returned to their owners, while police try to get in contact with the third owner, who they said is a local.

Hydrant hit

A single vehicle hit a fire hydrant at Perth Drive and the Boulevard on Aug. 12. RCMP said there was no damage to the fire hydrant, but the vehicle was moderately damaged in the collision.
