Squamish residents can calculate when they’ll receive COVID-19 vaccination

A new app estimates where you stand in the lineup for the treatment
Covid 19 vaccine

Wondering when you’ll be able to get yourself vaccinated against COVID-19?

Well, there’s an app for that, Squamish.

A new calculator developed by Omni Calculator provides estimates on when you may be able to find yourself getting your shots.

It asks you questions and based on the answers, it tells you what stage of the federal government’s response you fall under.

From there, you can get a rough idea of your place in the lineup and when you may be able to be fully vaccinated, assuming that the vaccine rollout happens on schedule.

The calculations are based on the national guidelines priority list released by the federal government,

However, provinces and territories are responsible for interpreting the guidelines and may have plans specific to their jurisdictions — these aren’t factored into the calculator’s predictions.

Omni Calculator is a company that provides a wide range of calculators that can provide estimates on anything from time spent on social media to how much toilet paper you need during a quarantine period.
