It’s getting hot in here, as high daily temperatures for May 10 were broken in 26 B.C. communities, according to Environment Canada.
In Squamish, the high became 28 degrees. Previously, the record was set at 25 on May 10 in 1997 — 22 years ago.
Squamish-based meteorologist Jason Ross said on Twitter that May 9 was also a record-breaking day for the area.
