EDITOR,
I'm appalled by the cost of bank charges. There are increases in the bank's service charges on an ongoing basis. I have been a member with several of the different local banks and credit unions. I would like to see these charges decreased to a manageable amount. No one likes to be paying the high cost of service charges unless the banks offer to include more services to get more for their money... especially these days with the high cost of living.
I can simply say that with my own experience that bank services are out of line, especially with the interest earned on our savings and investments being so low. People need to know that they are benefitting from these service charges and also could be lowered to satisfy the customer. Let the local banks and credit unions be aware of this needed change.
