Downtown Squamish has put on its technicolour dreamcoat!
I am thrilled to see the infusion of colour that has brightened our downtown streetscapes: lovely seasonal planters and hanging baskets, Billy's delicate paper lanterns and storefront displays, oversize candy-coloured chairs at Recycled Patio, awnings and signage, artful bike racks, the growing number of outdoor patios that invite people to linger - and not least of all the new Fields mural (props go out to Stan Matwychuk of Homebase Studios, Home Hardware and the Squamish Downtown Business Improvement Association for making this happen).
What a vibrant welcome mat we're rolling out. Nice work!
