Re: Graeme Masterton, B.C. Transit operation planning director's proposed transit cuts, July 13:

I am 80 years old and rely on the bus for transportation to attend the exercises at the pool, to shop,to attend medical appointmentsand go to the hospital for tests.

I liveon Thunderbird Ridge just pastTobermory. That is a long, steep hill up from the Glacier Viewbus stop. To remove the Glacier View loop from the bus route would shut me in or force me to move. I could not walk all the way to Perth and back.

I am not alone in using the bus in my area. I see many others on the buses. What we need is more service, not less, especially up the steep hill to the top of Thunderbird.Lorne RobsonGaribaldi Highlands
