St. John the Divine Anglican Church bid a fond farewell to Rev. Wendy Eyre-Gray on her retirement on Sunday (Aug. 26). Wendy has been the church's priest and pastor for almost four years. The sanctuary was packed with friends from the many walks of life that Wendy has touched in her time in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Members of the Squamish Multi-Faith Association the United Church and the Legion joined with her Anglican Church family to remember Wendy's gifts to the community and her impact on the lives of those she touched. The Rev. William Roberts, who has been the honourary assistant at St. John for about a year, will assume half-time duties as priest in charge until the congregation is ready to hire a new minister in early 2013.
