The organizers of the GranFondo want Squamish citizens to look on this event in a kindlier fashion.
The traffic situation is an inconvenience for those trying to get to and from shift work locally and in Whistler.
However, if you could pass on this helpful hint for next year. Why couldn't each of the participants donate $1 to our local food bank? I personally would wave and cheer on all those charitable GranFondo folks if it was beneficial to our town's less fortunate brothers and sisters. Marie WilsonGaribaldi Highlands
