A couple weeks ago, our little town of Hood River, Ore., lost an amazing dear friend and athlete at Whistler Park. He was an experienced rider and very involved in building trails and skills areas for riders. Matt was an amazing person and leader in our bike community. We are devastated by this tragedy. However, admist our grief, I continue to hear stories about how everyone in Whistler and Squamish came together to help Matt and the care he received was excellent. There are no words to express our gratitude. We will all keep riding to honor Matt. My most heartfelt thank you to all involved.
