I just wanted to say that I'm really looking forward to the opening of Mags on 99. The bright yellow building will soon surpass the newly inflated "Arches" as the beacon of Squamish. I believe this restaurant will complement the already fantastic dining options available on Highway 99. We are so fortunate to have the variety of businesses all on one road. Where else can you get fried chicken, or a Big Mac, or Timbits and a coffee (two opportunities for that!), and then withdraw some more money out of the bank machine before blasting up to Whistler? And you don't even have to get out of your car!
I strongly encourage Squamish council to make highway development a priority. To get the ball rolling I would suggest clear-cutting a swath the full length of the highway from the casino to the future CIBC, so future franchisees can view the potential development sites. If they're not interested we could fill 'em up with billboards - think of the revenue!
